Francesco Paszkowski Design

After gaining experience at Spadolini Design and working between Athens and Singapore on yachts ranging from 30 to 42 meters, Francesco Paszkowski established his own studio in Florence. Over the past three decades, Francesco Paszkowski Design has produced an extensive range of planing and displacement yachts in fiberglass and aluminum. This independent studio continues to build a reputation for creating unique designs for a select international clientele.

From an initial 29-meter open yacht for Baglietto in 1992 to a 72-meter project for Tankoa, the studio works with major shipyards and owners worldwide. Notable collaborations include long-standing partnerships with Baglietto, as well as successful projects for Sanlorenzo, Tankoa Yachts, Heesen Yachts, CRN, Custom Line, Cantiere delle Marche, Rizzardi, ISA Yachts, Canados and Turquoise Yachts. Every project focuses on translating owner desires and technical requirements into distinct, bespoke creations.

The scope of work expanded in 1996 with the addition of a permanent interior design department consisting of architects and designers. Since 2006, independent architect Margherita Casprini has contributed to these interior efforts, building on her previous experience at Spadolini. The team currently develops custom one-offs, series builds, and refits, covering everything from architectural solutions to custom lighting and furniture systems.

The design process has evolved alongside changes in yacht size and technical complexity. Francesco Paszkowski recently partnered with a university to launch educational programs aimed at training the next generation of designers. While keeping an eye on functional and aesthetic trends, the team aims to translate owner desires into unique, emotive yachts.
