Heesen operates a 4.4-hectare shipyard in Oss, where a dedicated team of approximately 1,000 professionals manages the entire construction process. The company is one of the few shipyards globally capable of building superyachts entirely in-house, from naval architecture and welding to the creation of sophisticated custom interiors.

The shipyard features nine sheds, including five dry docks, and maintains a production capacity of up to eight yachts per year. Heesen specializes in custom builds between 50 and 80 metres, alongside a successful series of yachts ranging from 50 to 60 metres. The current fleet includes a diverse array of hull types, such as aluminium, steel, displacement, and semi-displacement designs.

Innovation remains a central focus for the engineering and development teams, particularly through the implementation of the Fast Displacement Hull Form. The company continually invests in research to improve hull efficiency and develop more sustainable yachting solutions. By utilizing millions of individual parts in each meticulous build, the shipyard combines technical precision with progressive yacht engineering.

Beyond construction, Heesen emphasizes a healthy working environment and invests heavily in education to train the next generation of craftsmen. This commitment to professional development ensures that the specialized skills required for high-end shipbuilding are preserved and evolved. The result is a consistent output of groundbreaking superyachts that are recognized globally for their engineering excellence and reliable performance.
