Cantiere delle Marche
Cantiere delle Marche has firmly established itself as a premier builder of long-range, luxury explorer yachts from its shipyard in Ancona, on Italy’s Adriatic coast.
Founded in 2010 by a team of experienced yacht building managers, the company rapidly rose to prominence by filling a specific niche: constructing exceptionally robust displacement superyachts between 26 and 49 meters in length, crafted from steel and aluminum.
The shipyard focuses on a distinct philosophy tailored to experienced, demanding yachtsmen who want to move beyond traditional Caribbean or Mediterranean cruising. To make far-flung global exploration possible, the company builds its yachts with heavy-duty steel hulls, ocean-crossing ranges, and highly efficient fuel consumption.
The technical layout prioritizes safety and self-sufficiency through redundant equipment, oversized engine rooms, and systems designed for straightforward maintenance in remote areas, alongside eco-friendly management for black, grey, and bilge water.
The physical construction of each yacht relies on a deeply consolidated network of local Italian metalworkers, carpenters, and engineering specialists. These artisans have collaborated with the shipyard’s internal staff for decades, ensuring that every build maintains a uniform standard of structural integrity and refined interior finishing.
The company offers several distinct model ranges to suit different exploration styles, including the Darwin Class, Flexplorer, Project MG, and the EXP line. Each platform is engineered to carry substantial tenders and a large array of diving, fishing, and exploration toys.
