Ocean Marine Systems (OMS)

Ocean Marine Systems (OMS) designs and builds specialist engineering equipment for luxury yachts and commercial vessels. Product lines include underwater instrument deployment units, custom hydraulic cylinders, and a complete range of bow and stern thruster systems.

Operations started in 2014 when directors from Ocean Yacht Systems (OYS) formed the enterprise to advance thruster development and hydraulic engineering. Manufacturing takes place entirely in-house within the United Kingdom. Engineering teams handle design, assembly, and testing directly on site, meeting strict classification standards and tight delivery timelines.

The British company belongs to the Denmark-based BSI Marine Equipment Group. This network connects Ocean Marine Systems with sister brands including BSI Rigging, Hundested Propeller, Jefa Steering, Gori Propeller, OYS, and Moonlight Hatches, sharing technical capability across the global yacht industry.
