The company handles complete rig setups for everything from local cruising boats to high-performance racing yachts and large superyachts. As part of the Ancasta Group (comprising Ancasta International Boat Sales and Ancasta Yacht Services Ltd), the team supports projects on the UK south coast and across international waters.

Work covers every aspect of standing and running rigging. Technicians assemble, fit, and service traditional 1×19 stainless wire, Dyform wire, solid Nitronic rod, and modern composite options like PBO. Through a dedicated division known as Sparcare, Advanced Rigging & Hydraulics supplies new aluminium and carbon masts directly from top manufacturers, along with structural repairs and modifications.

Yacht hydraulics and furling systems form another core area of work. Serving as official distributors and service partners for names like Reckmann, OYS, Navtec, Leisure Furl, BSI, Mainfurl, and Future Fibres, the company handles maintenance and overhauls on power packs, furling booms, and hydraulic adjusters. Running rigging is spliced and prepared in-house using cordage from Gottifredi Maffioli, Kingfisher, and Liros Ropes.

Equipped with a dedicated on-site crane at the Hamble yard, the company manages rig stepping, unstepping, dressing, and tuning directly on the water. Routine rig inspections, pre-purchase surveys, and seasonal maintenance are standard services, while mobile riggers are available to travel globally for remote commissioning or urgent repairs.

Advanced Rigging & Hydraulics also acts as the preferred rigging partner for the World Cruising Club, supporting sailors preparing for long-distance ocean rallies like the ARC. Whether upgrading deck hardware for offshore blue-water passages or carrying out minor line replacements, the team delivers practical technical support focused on long-term reliability.
