Yacht Standards
Yacht Standards is the first classification society dedicated exclusively to the yachting industry. Founded in 2024 by a team of experts with over 25 years of experience — including former IACS class surveyors, flag surveyors, Master Mariners, and insurance managers — the organization was established to address specific gaps in the current yacht evaluation system.
The society focuses on providing independent and reliable assessments for a broad range of yachts that often fall outside traditional classification frameworks. This includes private yachts, older boats, vessels under 24 meters, and pioneering projects featuring cutting-edge technology.
