Trimm Design

Trimm Design was established in 2008 by Klaas Jan Westra and Shantia Fardin in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands. Originally focused on yacht design and engineering, the studio expanded its scope to include naval architecture and construction engineering to support shipyards, interior builders, and private clients.

The company has grown into a multidisciplinary team of 65 engineers and designers. This deep technical pool allows Trimm Design to manage complex projects from initial concept through to detailed production drawings, ensuring that every design is both creative and technically sound.

Using leading software solutions and a methodical approach, the team handles various aspects of a project, including hull design, stability calculations, and structural engineering. The studio is known for its ability to integrate aesthetic vision with the practical requirements of maritime construction.

Trimm Design begon haar reis in 2008, opgericht door Klaas Jan Westra en Shantia Fardin in Leeuwarden. De studio werd opgezet om jachtontwerp en engineeringdiensten te leveren aan scheepswerven, interieurbouwers en particuliere klanten.

Door een snelle groei breidde het bedrijf de diensten uit met maritieme architectuur en constructie-engineering.
