T. Fotiadis Design

Founded in 2003 by Theodoros Fotiadis, the Berlin-based studio began its trajectory following Fotiadis’s move from automotive design studies in Germany to specialized yacht and marine design in Fort Lauderdale.

The early decades of operation were marked by extensive behind-the-scenes engineering and layout contributions to major Northern European projects. This direct experience in working shipyards established a foundation of technical depth that informs every concept coming out of the Kurfürstendamm office today.

T.Fotiadis Design focuses on bespoke exterior and luxury interior architecture for superyachts, alongside high-end residential projects. The team balances artistic contemporary lines with German engineering precision, working within strict technical frameworks while catering to specific owner requests.

Concept designs published by the studio — including recognized projects like Vitality, Stormbreaker, Ultra2, Stardom, Neon, and August — are created from first principles, emphasizing performance, structural feasibility, and environmental consideration.

Beyond pure design services, T.Fotiadis Design co-founded Astra Nord Superyachts in Stralsund, Northern Germany. This partnership connects the Berlin creative office directly with a physical shipyard facility.

Every concept developed by T.Fotiadis Design is validated and engineered for production at Astra Nord, offering clients a direct, streamlined transition from preliminary sketches to completed builds.
