Seawind Catamarans

Seawind Catamarans designs and builds cruising sail and power catamarans distributed across the globe. Under the leadership of experienced yachtsman Richard Ward, the company has grown into one of the world’s largest multihull producers, offering a lineup of over 15 catamaran and trimaran models. Annual production exceeds 30 boats, with well over 300 catamarans delivered to date.

The broader organization employs more than 550 staff members and maintains an international sales network of over 20 dealers serving clients worldwide. Production capabilities focus on high-performance, lightweight composite construction, incorporating fiberglass, carbon fiber, vacuum bagging, and resin infusion technology.

In 2010, Seawind Catamarans expanded its multihull portfolio by acquiring Corsair Marine, a leading builder of trailerable trimarans with a record of more than 2,500 boats produced. This acquisition brought together two respected names in multihull design to share expertise and technical knowledge.

By integrating production operations into a shared facility, the company brought together skilled boatbuilders, tradespeople, and management teams. This collaborative environment continuously drives the refinement of build techniques and composite engineering across both product lines.
