Puro Systems focuses on providing a superior alternative to traditional water treatment for yachts. The team believes that washdowns and rinsing should be efficient, professional operations that protect expensive surfaces like Gelcoat and paint from the damaging effects of hard water and calcification.

By integrating Puro technology, crews can significantly reduce the time spent on cleaning while simultaneously protecting internal water systems and providing guests with high-quality soft water. Unlike standard softeners, Puro does not require the use of salts or frequent maintenance routines. The system utilizes active automation to purify water in marinas worldwide, effectively handling dock water and other freshwater sources.

The origin of the company is rooted in firsthand experience. The concept was developed by Omri Farbstein and Aviv Yahel, a husband-and-wife team with over eight years of experience working as captain and first mate across the Mediterranean and South Florida.

After enduring the frustration of battling water spots and the limitations of common water softeners, the pair set out to design a comprehensive, low-maintenance solution from scratch. Every aspect of the Puro System is engineered in-house, reflecting a deep understanding of the practical challenges faced by those living and working on board.
