Oceanvolt

Oceanvolt is a Finnish technology company specializing in the development and manufacturing of fully electric propulsion systems for pleasure craft. The company focuses on providing sustainable solutions for sailing boats and multihulls, designed to replace traditional internal combustion engines.

The core technology is based on low-voltage (48V) systems, ensuring a high level of safety on board. Compared to diesel units, Oceanvolt electric motors are characterized by silent operation, a lack of vibration, and minimal maintenance requirements.

One of the key innovations is the patented ServoProp system, a saildrive with a controllable pitch propeller. This technology allows for efficient motoring and enables the propeller to act as a powerful hydrogenerator while sailing. The propeller blades automatically adjust to the water flow to optimize battery charging.
