Melita Power Diesel

Originally established in 1989 as Malta Marine Repairs to provide in-water facilities for yachts, the company was acquired by Melita Marine Group in 1998 and renamed Melita Power Diesel. Since then, the company has grown into a major Mediterranean provider of complete power solutions, propulsion systems, and industrial power plants.

Melita Power Diesel serves as the official distributor and service partner for Rolls-Royce Power Systems, MTU, and Detroit Diesel Engines across Malta and Greece. The company also represents Scania marine and industrial engines within its regional network. Engineering capabilities include engine sales, spare parts supply, complete overhauls, reconditioning, and technical diagnostics.

Technical services are delivered through specialized regional facilities, including an 1,800-square-meter establishment in Malta and a 3,000-square-meter workshop and office base in Athens, Greece. Fully trained engineering teams utilize manufacturer-approved diagnostic tools and testing equipment to complete repair and maintenance projects for yachts, superyachts, and commercial vessels.
