Fossati Design Bureau

Founded by designer Umberto Fossati, Fossati Design Bureau operates as a bespoke creative atelier delivering custom interior and exterior concepts for superyachts and high-end residential estates. Following formal training in architecture at the University of Turin and interior design in Milan, Fossati cultivated an approach grounded in artisan craftsmanship, understated elegance, and functional sophistication.

Early professional years spent working within prominent Italian interior studios and renowned shipyards in Viareggio provided deep technical expertise in naval architecture and luxury space planning. This dual exposure to land-based architectural principles and complex marine spatial constraints shapes every project undertaken by the studio.

The creative methodology centers on translating individual owner visions into fully realized environments. From initial preliminary sketches to hands-on site coordination and installation, technical precision guides every phase. Material selection plays a pivotal role, combining refined textures, custom hardware, and balanced layouts to craft harmonious interior and deck living areas.

By maintaining direct involvement throughout the entire spatial development process, Fossati Design Bureau bridges artistic vision with practical execution. Every interior arrangement and exterior profile reflects a distinct balance of contemporary lines, refined Italian aesthetics, and long-term functionality tailored specifically to demanding maritime and residential applications.
