Doggersbank offers rugged offshore explorer yachts based on a proven naval architecture platform. Designed by Vripack founder Dick Boon and named after a North Sea sandbank, the brand focuses on long-range ocean capabilities and heavy-weather endurance.

Clients can select the Offshore build package to construct a new motor yacht on an established framework, benefiting from shorter lead times, verified safety records, and fully updated systems.

The company uses a steel displacement hull paired with a lightweight aluminum superstructure. This structural combination provides high strength while maintaining a favorable center of gravity. Compared to all-aluminum or fiberglass alternatives, the hybrid steel and aluminum setup cuts roll by roughly 30 percent, generating comfortable motion during open-water passages.

The round bilge hull shape features a high flared bow that deflects spray and softens pitching in rough seas. Strong large-angle stability delivers substantial righting energy when encountering heavy waves, keeping the yacht upright and stable. Because the efficient displacement hull achieves target speeds without oversized engines, fuel consumption stays low, extending range for remote ocean voyages.

The hull design yields generous volume below deck, offering roughly 25 percent more tank capacity and additional floor space compared to conventional composite or aluminum hulls. Doggersbank uses this extra space to create spacious guest accommodation, extensive storage, and the deep fuel capacity necessary for self-sufficient expeditions.
