Yacht Racing Forum
The Yacht Racing Forum is the primary annual business conference for the international sailing and competitive yacht racing industry. Established in 2008 in Monaco, the event is managed by Geneva-based communication agency MaxComm.
The conference moves to different European sailing hubs each year, bringing together event organizers, boat builders, elite athletes, sponsors, and technical designers.
The conference structure is divided into distinct thematic modules targeting specific sectors of the sport. The Design & Technology Symposium runs parallel to the main event, focusing on cutting-edge innovations such as hydrofoils, rigid sails, sustainable materials, and safety systems.
Complementing this, the Marketing, Sponsorship & Media track addresses the commercial side of the sport, offering insight into event management, venue selection, and brand partnerships.
Broader industry challenges and administrative frameworks are addressed through dedicated sessions on risk management, sports governance, and the general state of the sport. These modules bring together federations, yacht clubs, and legal experts to debate regulatory changes, intellectual property, liability issues, and sustainability.
The event also prioritizes discussions around diversity, youth participation, and commercial growth strategies to expand the sport’s global reach.
