Vliho Yacht Club

Ruairi & Vicky Bradley founded Vliho Yacht Club in 2003. After working in Greece from the early 90’s, they travelled extensively on their own classic wooden yacht, before ending up in Ireland. Four years of project managing a new marina build there, had them yearning for a life with more sunshine, hence the Yacht Club in Lefkas, Greece.

As experienced sailors ourselves, the Vliho team’s concept was to create a place for people to meet as sailors, holiday makers or residents of Lefkas, and gather information, relax, eat well and feel at home. Vliho Yacht Club has realized all this and more.

The club is now the base for an ever-growing community of locals, Greek and foreign, and visitors who return year after year. The Yacht Club has now expanded to include great value Yacht Charter holidays and Technical Yacht services.

Our Location – Vliho Bay, Lefkada

Lefkada (or Lefkas) island is situated right in the heart of the Ionian. You don’t have to be here long to realise why this place has people returning year after year. With crystal clear waters and lush verdant mountains creating a picturesque & dramatic landscape. The Ionian is one of the prettiest and most popular sailing areas in Europe.

Setting sail from our base in Vliho, you can pick almost any point on a compass, directing you to one of the many stunning destinations on offer. Whether it’s a quayside mooring in a local fishing village, or sailing towards the complete bliss of anchoring in a secluded bay, the choice of destinations to explore here is endless, and with so many islands just a short distance away, you may never have to visit the same place twice.

New to the area? Our team can recommend an array of good anchorage spots, quiet bays to avoid the crowds, where to sample the finest local cuisine and even the locations best known for spotting local sea life including turtles, Mediterranean monk seals and various species of dolphins.
