The International Yachting Media is a digital-native publishing group founded in 2014 by Luca D’Ambrosio. The company operates a network of seven magazines — including Yachting News, Yacht Digest, Superyachts.News, and Boat Review — published in multiple international editions. The group is recognized for its “hyper-connected” editorial system, which broadcasts nautical news globally by translating and publishing content in several languages within 24 hours.

The publisher utilizes a multimedia approach that incorporates interactive features such as hypertextual links, animated photographs, sound effects, and video reviews into its digital magazines. This system was developed to provide an immersive experience without the constraints of traditional paper media.

Founder Luca D’Ambrosio brings an extensive background in digital innovation to the maritime sector. In 2011, he received the National Award for Technological Innovation from the President of the Italian Republic for developing a semantic search engine based on neural networks. As a journalist and member of Boating Writers International (BWI), he oversees the group’s technical testing and sea trials, which are supported by a YouTube channel with a significant global following.
