Selene Yachts
Selene Ocean Yachts delivers semi-custom ocean-going passagemakers and long-range explorer yachts designed for long-distance cruising. Having completed over 400 builds to date, the shipyard executes the entire construction process in-house, managing every stage from initial hull lamination using solid fiberglass below the waterline to final interior upholstery without relying on subcontracted shipyards.
These trawlers incorporate critical structural features intended for blue-water passages, including watertight bulkheads, skeg-protected propellers and rudders, continuous-duty engines, and automated fire suppression systems. Deep side decks, high bulwarks, and a protective Portuguese bridge enhance safety on deck, while forward-raked pilothouse windows improve visibility and headroom at the main helm station.
Engine rooms feature layout configurations optimized for direct accessibility, simplified routine maintenance, and practical system servicing. Electrical architecture is engineered with custom levels of redundancy using components sourced from leading suppliers, while custom stainless-steel hardware is fabricated directly within the company’s dedicated workshops.
Interiors feature handcrafted teak or cherry wood cabinetry, expanded storage capacity for provisions and spare parts, and sheltered exterior spaces across the aft deck and cockpit areas. Owners also benefit from an active global network and dedicated platform that facilitates information sharing and direct peer support.
