The company produces electric motors, range extenders, motor controllers, battery management systems, and lithium battery packs. Central to the product line are electric pod drives with main components constructed from bronze, a material chosen for long-term endurance and resistance to corrosion in salt water.

Engineered with only two moving parts, SeaDrive pods focus on mechanical simplicity to reduce failure points and slash routine maintenance requirements. Transitioning to an electric drive eliminates standard combustion engine upkeep, doing away with oil changes, filter replacements, spark plugs, winterisation procedures, and fuel station stops.

Quiet, zero-emission operation enables boat owners to navigate environmentally protected waters, lakes, and rivers where fossil-fuel engines face strict bans. The company designs these versatile pods to fit almost any hull type, powering everything from contemporary yachts to traditional wooden Viking boats.

A key advantage comes from housing the integrated motor and controller completely outside the hull within the pod casing. This configuration saves interior space, avoids adding internal weight, and simplifies installation. Submerged placement provides direct cooling from surrounding water, removing any need for separate internal cooling circuits or pumps.

Recharging runs off standard shore power using a basic 10-amp socket, with options to set up dedicated dockside chargers at a home berth. Depending on hull geometry, speed, and battery capacity, a single charge can cover up to 100 nautical miles.
