Sciallino Boats

Headquarters:
Albenga
Founded:
1960
Boat types:
Cabin cruisers and planing yachts

Mario Sciallino founded the company in Ceriale, where he mastered boat building as a carpenter at the Patrone production site. This background in traditional craftsmanship led to the establishment of the shipyard over sixty years ago.

The company specializes in Ligurian gozzo boats, which are recognized for their classic design, functionality, and seaworthiness. These motorboats reflect a balance between modern technical research and established nautical traditions.

The brand has expanded its presence from Italy to international markets, including Japan. At the Yokohama Boat Show, the hybrid version of a Sciallino boat received the green award for its environmental considerations.

Since 2015, the Moreno family has owned and managed the brand and its fleet. Under the leadership of PierMichele and Ornella Moreno, the company continues to evolve the gozzo design while maintaining a focus on bespoke quality and reliability.

The shipyard operates from a 5,000-square-meter estate near the Albenga motorway exit. The facility is designed to accommodate heavy transport lorries and provides sufficient space for maneuvering large boats within the site.

The production area includes several specialized buildings equipped according to current industry regulations. A photovoltaic system is installed on-site, allowing the company to integrate solar energy into various production processes.
