Royal Huisman

Royal Huisman builds custom luxury yachts, operating from its primary facility in Vollenhove. Established in 1884 for small wooden boat construction, the shipyard was awarded the Royal Warrant in 1984 and now focuses on high-end custom builds.

The company employs a team of over 350 craftsmen, designers, and engineers. To expand its capacity, Royal Huisman extended its footprint to the Amsterdam region, utilizing this second location primarily for Huisfit refit, repair, and commissioning projects.

The shipyard handles everything from advanced structural engineering to custom interior finishes for both sailing and motor yachts. This infrastructure allows the company to focus heavily on performance, handling, and long-range operational capabilities in demanding open-ocean conditions.
