Royal Hakvoort Shipyard

Royal Hakvoort Shipyard is a family-owned company with over a century of history. The focus here is not on being the largest builder, but on being the best, creating fully custom superyachts of the highest quality. In 2020, the yard received the royal designation, a distinction reserved for family businesses that have provided an impeccable level of service for more than 100 years.

Building a superyacht up to 65 metres in length at the yard offers a unique experience, supported by purpose-built facilities for major refits. The core of operations relies on passing down skills and expertise through generations. With Abel Hakvoort joining the office staff as a project manager in 2022, the company continues its commitment to perfection in every new project.

The yard is located on the shores of the IJsselmeer, roughly 8 miles north of Amsterdam and just 15 miles from Schiphol International Airport. Around ninety highly experienced staff members work at Royal Hakvoort Shipyard, supporting the development of every yacht from the initial design conception through to the final launch.
