Opac is an industry leader in the design and construction of hard-tops, soft-tops and awnings for all sorts of pleasure craft.

Rigid, or hard-top roofs, are generally constructed using composite materials and/or glass, while soft-tops are usually made of canvas. Awnings, or bimini tops, are waterproof canvas coverings used as protection from the sun, wind or spray.

Our hard-tops, soft-tops and awnings, together with their movement systems, are designed entirely in-house, by our Nautical Division, while the construction process is carried out by highly specialized personnel. All of our operations are carried out in collaboration with handpicked partners.

Many technologies from the automotive division are employed by our Nautical Division. Thanks to its thirty-year experience in the production of soft-tops and hard-tops for the automotive industry, Opac is able to offer the best and most effective solutions, adapted for the particular requirements of the nautical sector.

All of our soft-tops, hard-tops and awnings are designed to meet each customer’s specific needs, and can also be produced in limited series.

Their proven flexibility has made it possible for Opac to grow quickly in the nautical sector as well. Today, our Nautical Division collaborates successfully with the most important Italian and international shipyards, including Azimut–Benetti, Bénéteau, Gruppo Ferretti, Monte Carlo Yachts, Perini Navi, Princess, Sirena Marine, Palumbo Superyachts and many more.
