Officina Italiana Design

Officina Italiana Design was founded in 1994 by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta. Since its inception, the studio has maintained an exclusive and enduring partnership with the legendary Riva shipyard, with which it has collaborated for over two decades. To this day, the entire Riva fleet (both exterior styling and interior design) is the work of Officina Italiana Design.

Clean lines, meticulous attention to detail, balanced volumes, and carefully curated materials and colours are the distinctive traits of a studio devoted to creating elegant, innovative, and timeless objects. These fundamental principles extend beyond the nautical world into a variety of other fields, including interior design, industrial design, and custom-built projects.

The studio offers solutions of all kinds, thanks to leading-edge 3D software and constantly updated rendering programmes. Its work also extends to interior and industrial design, both areas in which it produces custom projects tailored to the suit the needs of each client. It is involved in every stage of the projects, from the creative idea to prototype making.

The studio also has a solid background in refit design: Officina Italiana Design has left its creative stamp on veteran yacht restoration projects as well as restyling more recent craft.
