Nuvolari Lenard is one of the most active and known yacht design firms in the world that owes its success to its founders’ passion for design and strong relationship with the sea.

Carlo Nuvolari and Dan Lenard share a strong relationship with the sea and style: water and architecture, an indissoluble link which permeates all their projects whether they are yachts, interiors or architectural. Their beloved Venice, where they work and live, have had certainly a strong influence on their sensitivity for beauty and design.

Dan Lenard, stylist and designer, and Carlo Nuvolari, naval architect and mechanical engineer, founded the company in 1990, in Italy, just out the old town of Venice. Their private life reflects their profession: both share the common passion for sailing and they spend as much of their free time at sea.

Nuvolari Lenard performs concept design, naval architecture, exterior styling, architecture and takes care of the yacht since the beginning of the project until the delivery. NL is now launching the new Nuvolari Lenard PLUS fleet.

Design of Custom Superyachts

NL designed yachts have been built by the most famous shipyards as Oceanco, Luerssen, Amels, Palmer Johnson, Perini Navi, CRN Ferretti. All the yachts are built by the design and under the supervision of NL, who assist the customer, the owner representative and the captain in all the design building and delivery procedure.

Nuvolari Lenard Plus

The Nuvolari Lenard Plus line represents an innovative effort that encapsulates the best of the thirty year experience of Dan Lenard, Carlo Nuvolari and their studio.

NL Plus embodies the search for innovation that Nuvolari Lenard spread in all the fields of yacht design. The Plus projects line starts with NL 50 Plus, a 52-meter yacht at the limit of 500 GT now in construction.

Interior Design for Yachts and Residential projects

Dan Lenard and Carlo Nuvolari design also the interiors of the yachts. Interior is interface between the yacht and his owner.
The Studio in close collaboration with the client develops the concept, supplies architectural drawings, samples, specification of decoration and also loose furniture, lights and art pieces. NL also deals with the interior design of luxury houses.
