Metro Marine

Metro Marine LLC develops original underwater lighting solutions for the yachting sector. The business originated as a division of Metro Light & Power LLC, which was established in 2015 by Daniel Deutsch and Scott Usher after combining the founders’ previous ventures, Inner Spaces and Prism Industries.

Following three years of testing its proprietary lens technology, the company was launched to bring these specialized products to the broader market.

At the core of the product lineup is patented SeaBeam™ technology. This innovation keeps the lenses on underwater fixtures permanently clear and completely free of bio-fouling growth. To maintain high performance standards, Metro Marine integrates premium Nichia LEDs into all fixtures.

Innovation remains a central focus, supported by a portfolio of U.S. patents and additional pending applications. Scott Usher and Daniel Deutsch bring more than 35 years of combined experience in custom LED design, guiding every phase of product development.

All marine lighting fixtures and control system components are designed in the United States. Components are sourced from manufacturing partners in Japan, the US, and Europe, while final assembly takes place at a facility in Dongguan, China.
