For wireless boat control, Maritronix produces the PILOT-H system. It incorporates dual independent microcontrollers alongside serially connected independent relays on every control path to protect operational safety.
Constructed from industrial-grade components, PILOT-H relies on Hamming code algorithms to keep wireless transmissions error-free, and includes an emergency stop button that meets ISO 13850 standards. The system handles up to six distinct functions:
- Port engine control
- Starboard engine control
- Anchor windlass control
- Bow thruster control
- Stern thruster control
- Horn control
The company also offers HELMSMAN, a CNC-machined aluminum alloy control panel designed for installation alongside a steering wheel or as a standalone station. Its compact footprint makes it convenient to mount as a secondary helm on a flybridge, sundeck, or stern area.
To avoid cluttered menus on the main display, advanced parameter setup takes place through a connected computer. During operation, the screen gives clear feedback on heading or rudder angle across three selectable driving modes.
To improve situational awareness, the MARITRONIX SCOUT system uses camera-based computer vision to spot and monitor surrounding targets. Operating through a single camera paired with proprietary real-time processing software, SCOUT identifies objects below the horizon using machine learning models trained on growing image datasets.
Operators can set custom guard zone thresholds for early warning alerts, with full detection capabilities maintained in low-light and nighttime conditions.
