LDWO – Leoni Design Workshop
Leoni Design Workshop was established in 2024 by Jacopo Leoni following nearly a decade of experience within technical and design departments at prominent shipyards, including Benetti and Rossinavi. The studio combines creative vision, technical expertise, and deep knowledge of superyacht construction processes, concentrating primarily on vessels ranging from 40 to 80 meters.
The core scope of the company encompasses exterior and interior yacht design, new-build concepts, superyacht refit projects, and bespoke design solutions. The methodology integrates distinctive aesthetics, functionality, construction feasibility, and rigorous attention to detail, addressing every phase from initial conception to final realization.
Alongside creative activities, LDWO delivers dedicated technical design support for shipyards, utilizing hands-on experience in technical development and coordination among design offices, technical departments, and production teams. Services include General Arrangements and 2D documentation, advanced 3D technical development, interior and exterior outfitting, technical documentation packages, construction-oriented documentation, refit and as-built development.
The combined design and technical background enables the team to support shipyards throughout different project stages, turning design concepts into practical, coordinated, and build-ready solutions.
Collaboration remains central to operations, partnering with shipyards, yacht owners, brokers, and industry professionals through a flexible framework. The philosophy of LDWO extends beyond visual styling to prioritize the quality of onboard living, material selection, spatial harmony, and the relationship between luxury, comfort, and functionality.
Furthermore, LDWO explores bespoke furniture, outdoor living concepts, and product design, reflecting a broader commitment to craftsmanship, innovation, and contemporary design standards within the marine sector.
