Kraken Yachts builds dedicated blue water sailing yachts engineered for global circumnavigation. Rejecting the compromise of “all-purpose” designs, the shipyard focuses on structural integrity and offshore performance. Every vessel prioritizes crew safety and comfort, utilizing traditional maritime principles integrated with modern technical standards.

The hull construction features an ultra-heavy layup of up to 22 layers of composite engineered fabrics, including Aramid reinforcements at critical collision points. A defining technical feature is the “Zero Keel” design, where the keel is an integral part of the hull mold rather than a bolted-on component.

This is complemented by the “Alpha Rudder,” a fully protected skeg-hung system with three independent bearings that can be serviced while afloat.

The hull architecture utilizes a fine bow stem entry and a V-shaped forefoot to eliminate slamming in heavy headseas, ensuring superior tracking and motion. On deck, safety is enhanced by deep concave molded bulwarks and 80cm stanchions with triple safety lines.

The Solent rig is standard, allowing a single person to manage all sail trimming and furling from the cockpit, making it ideal for short-handed long-distance cruising.

Technical reliability is further supported by a triple fuel polishing system and raised, recessed tank fillers. These features prevent fuel contamination from seawater and protect the environment from accidental spills.
