IMOCA

The International Monohull Ocean Racing Association (IMOCA) was formed in 1991. The association manages the class of IMOCA 60′ monohulls utilized in competitive offshore racing.

IMOCA organizes the IMOCA GLOBE SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP. This series brings together major racing events, such as the Route du Rhum and the Transat Jacques Vabre.

The racing schedule also features notable round-the-world competitions, including The Ocean Race and the Vendée Globe. Through these events, the association maintains standards and oversight for the boat class.
