Hy.G Motors was founded in 2012 to support the energy transition. Its ambition: to contribute to an environmentally friendly world. We dedicate all our energy to the oceans, seas, rivers, lakes, and canals that inspire our commitment to nature and freedom.

The company’s DNA is rooted in the development of high-value products and local expertise, with a strong commitment to developing France’s industrial economy. France, and Brittany in particular, boasts an exceptional coastline and rare diversity. This wealth translates into maritime and nautical expertise in all fields except one: propulsion. Our ambition is to create and take this position.

Far beyond simple assembly activities, Hy.G Motors actually manufactures its thrusters from raw materials such as copper or neodymium. We are the only French manufacturer of electric thrusters for boats.

Hy.G motors’ RIM technology concentrates all the power of a high-efficiency motor in its exceptional thrust capacity. Regardless of the ship’s tonnage, RIMs rely on reasonable consumption of electrical energy, already qualified for heavy loads, by enhancing it through careful design. Travel speeds depend on the hulls and are generally between 5 and 10 knots.
