HMY Yacht Sales started in 1979. Steve Moynihan entered the industry in 1975 and co-founded the business before becoming the sole owner. Currently, the company operates 14 sales locations and 4 service locations with a team of over 90 employees.

The company represents several new yacht brands, including Viking, Valhalla Boatworks, Princess, and Two Oceans Power Catamarans. It also carries the ECLIPSE model line and the NIMBUS line, which is displayed at the HMY Outboard Boating Center in North Palm Beach, Florida.
