Buoycatcher Boat Hooks

Buoycatcher creates telescopic boat hook poles and quick-threading attachment heads designed to simplify everyday mooring routines. Handled easily from the bow, midships, or a stern bathing platform, the signature three-section extendable pole reaches over 3.3 metres (11 feet), helping crew members retrieve lines without leaning over the edge of the deck.

The engineered heads automatically pass mooring lines through buoy rings, shackles, dockside rings, harbour ladder rungs, and most cleats, returning the line directly back on board. Because the system routes the rope straight through, there is no need to tie knots or rely on a painter while securing the boat.

At the core of the setup is a factory-fitted threaded insert at the end of the main pole, which lets users swap out attachments quickly based on the situation at hand. Having a single pole handle multiple tasks keeps cockpit space clear on everything from sports boats and catamarans to day boats, river cruisers, and narrowboats.

The range of interchangeable heads includes everyday thermoplastic hooks, polished 316 stainless steel traditional hooks, specialized lasso heads, and a magnetic attachment. Crafted from 316 stainless steel to handle harsh saltwater environments, the entire assembly weighs under 1.5 kg, making it easy for any crew member to operate safely.
