Bruntons Propellers started manufacturing propulsion equipment in 1908, transitioning from a background in millwrighting and agricultural engineering.

The company quickly gained a strong reputation for engineering quality during the early twentieth century. Today, the business designs and builds custom propellers and complete sterngear systems for everything from sailing yachts to luxury motorboats and commercial craft.

Bruntons Propellers is widely recognized for the modern Autoprop feathering and Varifold folding propeller lines, yet the production range covers both fixed and variable pitch options.

In 1958, the company partnered with Stone Manganese Marine, gaining access to specialized metallurgy and advanced engineering skills. A later joint development with Stone Marine Singapore further extended production capabilities, ensuring reliable delivery times and high build quality.

Bruntons Propellers belongs to the Stone Marine Group under Langham Industries, a privately owned British corporation that provides the long-term investment needed to continually refine these engineering systems.
