Auckland Boat Show
Organized and run by the NZ Marine Industry Association, the Auckland Boat Show serves as New Zealand’s largest on-water marine event. Established in 1999, the showcase operates as a not-for-profit initiative, reinvesting all event revenues back into the local marine sector to drive commercial growth, innovation, and industry training programs.
Based around the Viaduct Events Centre and Jellicoe Harbour in central Auckland, the venue features extensive on-water berths paired with land-based exhibition spaces. The event brings together commercial shipbuilders, equipment manufacturers, refit yards, and marine technology developers, connecting regional and international buyers directly with local marine businesses.
Exhibits cater to every tier of the boating market, featuring large luxury motor yachts and sailboats alongside an extensive selection of RIBs, trailerable fishing craft, and marine accessories. In addition to vessel displays, the event schedule incorporates sea trials, technical product launches, and specialized marine seminars.
Through its dedicated focus on high-quality staging and industry-wide representation, the event highlights the engineering capabilities and craftsmanship of the New Zealand marine market. By offering a dynamic commercial platform for local shipyards and suppliers, the Auckland Boat Show maintains a key role in advancing the South Pacific marine economy.
