ARES Yachts traces its roots to the Black Sea town of Trabzon, a place renowned for its centuries-old tradition of boat building and sailing. It has long been a hub of maritime craftsmanship, where skills and expertise have been passed down through generations. This rich legacy of artisanal boatbuilding and a deep connection to the sea, combined with a burning passion to innovate, gave birth to ARES Shipyard, a hallmark of Turkish shipbuilding.

When established in 2006, the Shipyard initially focused on crafting luxury yachts. However, in 2008, recognizing shifting market dynamics, the shipyard pivoted to naval, patrol, and commercial craft. This decisive shift marked the start of ARES’s rise as a leading name in the industry.

Since this transition, ARES Shipyard has achieved remarkable success, earning recognition for its innovative and award-winning vessels. The shipyard’s accomplishments include being named Türkiye’s fastest-growing company across all industries for five consecutive years and the development and construction of Türkiye’s first unmanned surface vessel family.
