Akesdesign is a naval architecture studio specializing in custom pleasure powerboats and RIBs. Founded by naval engineer Alessandro Chessa, the firm integrates theoretical principles of naval architecture with practical seamanship to deliver high-performance hull forms tailored to specific operational requirements.

The design studio focuses heavily on aluminum and advanced composite construction, developing custom projects, specialized commercial hulls, and complete construction plans for professional shipyards or home builders. Leveraging 3D CAD modeling, hydrodynamics, and structural calculations, every project optimizes hull geometry to achieve superior sea-keeping, structural efficiency, and high strength-to-weight ratios.

In addition to custom new builds, Akesdesign provides technical consulting and surveying services in partnership with RINA (Registro Italiano Navale) for security certificate renewals.
