Deutsche Yachten

The fact that the world’s largest yachts have been built in Germany for many years demonstrates that the key factors here are aligned: the engineering excellence, the capacity of the shipyards, the infrastructure and quality of the suppliers, and the expertise of the shipyard workers.

Everyone involved in the construction process understands the complexity of a large yacht and the challenge of managing such a large technical system. Everyone knows that the better the teamwork, the better the product.

The working group Deutsche Yachten includes selected German companies active in the construction and fitting out of yachts over 24 metres in length. The industry pool is part of the Association of German Boat and Shipbuilders and aims to promote its members’ expertise and to make Germany even better known internationally as a centre of yachtbuilding.

The winners of this process are the customers, because in Germany, yachts are built and equipped by people who understand their craft and who, each of them, are experts and specialists in their field. Professionalism is the strength of the members of Deutsche Yachten. The result of this approach is that all yachts from Germany bear the same label: “Made in Germany.”
